What fields are required when adding contact?
Only "Fullname" field is required, all others are optional.
What are group permissions for contact and how to use them?
You can use group permissions to define group or groups a specific contact belongs to. Users with access to respective groups will be able to manage contacts in these groups. Please note that subscription owner will always have access to all contacts.
How many phones, e-mails, addresses can I add? Can I add new types?

You can add unlimited number of phones, e-mails, addresses. There is no limitation.

If you need some other contact info type added, send us a letter - if this custom type is really so good, we will add it to the system, so everyone will be able to use it.

What are tags and how to use them?

Tags are single words that allow you to sort contacts by additional parameters, features etc. If more than one tag is added, you should divide them with comma symbol.

After marking contacts with tags, you'll see them in Tag Cloud at the lower-left part of the screen. This cloud contains tags that are used the most and allows you to filter contacts in convenient way.

How to use notes? Who can view and add them?

Notes can be used to track contact history. Any user with appropriate permissions can view and post notes, but the note removal can only be performed by author or subscription owner.

Also, notes can contain file attachments. Maximum file upload size is currently limited to 64 Mb.

How to navigate in contacts database?

There are several convenient ways to navigate your database:

  • You can use the Quick Search at the top left corner. Just input first two letters in a search field and system will prompt you with variants of data found in database. The effectiveness of search increases with each additional symbol added
  • You can use advanced search to set more search filters
  • You can view contact that were added by you personally if you press "My Contacts" menu
  • You can navigate over contact groups or tag cloud
Can I create private contacts?
Yes, just don't add contact to any of the existing groups. This will guarantee 100% privacy of the contact. Even from subscription owner.
Who can delete my contacts from the system?
Only you or subscription owner. If the contact is private - only you have permission to do this.
What will happen to contact if I'll delete group it currently belongs to?
Nothing. Only the respective group permission will be removed from contact's properties. The contact itself will remain unchanged within the system.
Is there any limit on number of contact groups?
There is no such limit. But we'd recommend you to have this number at reasonable value to provide you with convenient means of navigation in contacts database.
What will happen to user's contacts if I'll delete him?
In this case system will prompt you with a choice - delete all of his contacts or assign them to a different user. If you will choose to reassign, system will delete the private contacts and then reassign the public ones.
